Pewter City Gym (the battle field in the manga) (gym music) (trainer battle music) (vs. Gymleader) The Pewter Gym is the official Gym of Pewter City. It is based on Rock-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Brock. Trainers that defeat him receive the Boulder Badge.
Other known members include Camper Jerry, Hiker Edwin, Camper Liam, Flint (Brock's father), and Lola (Brock's mother).
Rules The battle to get to brock are tournament style and trainers must go through several rounds of Other Trainers to finally be able to battle Brock. The outside of the Gym has the default design, but the inside consists of a boxing ring where the Trainers battle, a space for the crowd around it and a room with windows where Brock can see the battles.

When mikey saw the gym here his fighting sprits is rocking out so he enter in the gym for the very first time and said" Hello My name is Mikey knight and i am a leader of flying type pokemon from my home town of Johto and i want to face your gym leader in a pokemon battle.

The Gym Guide noticed him and relpied "well even if you are the gym leader of violet city You Still have to compete in the tournament like every one else." He handed him a sign up sheet. "just fill this out you'll be entered."

I took everything from him that he could kill him self with "your official on suicide watch, Mikona-kun" I said as I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the leader. "hey Forest Can you battle this trainer. He's in a depressed mood and I think that the boulder badge will cheer him up." I stated as I looked at him.

I was getting irritated by Silver's annoying "elder brother" attitude, so I ignored him. Besides, right now I should be concentrating on Mikona's battle.
