Route Forty-Six
Early in Trainer's Journies, that start from New Bark Town they can only access the southern part of the route, below the ledges that can be jumped over. However, later in their adventure, if Route 45 is used to return to New Bark Town instead of the move Fly, They will land off to the east of one of the three entrances to Dark Cave, from which they must either travel through the cave or jump down the ledges to get anywhere.

Satoshi wakes up after being unconscious and sees he was in a tiny cave with Suicune in it. He looked puzzled but he realizes the Suicune was not trying to escape. It was waiting for him to wake up. It wasn't it's usual blue color either. It was a much paler blue with blue hair. It had looked after Satoshi while he was unconscious and it moved closer and nudged him with it's nose. Satoshi Realizes he has lost his bag and the only things he had on him were his 2 pokemon and his master ball. The rest of his items are gone. He looked up at the Suicune as it ran past him elegantly and then left the small cave leaving Satoshi there. He notices a small egg in the cave as it was all blue with purple river like curves on it and a big diamond shape on it. "Huh? What Pokemon egg is this?" He picks it up and smiles. He decided to look after the egg and then hugged it tightly. He then gets up and leaves the cave and sees a route checkpoint roughly a mile off so he walks towards it. He was looking around as it was near where he became unconscious. "Route 29 is nearby........The start of all my problems.....And the end." He smiled as he went through the gate towards route 29.

As I ran into Route 46, I glanced everywhere. I caught a glimpse of the boy with Furret ears as he ran off further down the route. Several Team Rocket members attempt to pursue, but a few Grunts succumbed to the scratches and fellow Pokemon attacks. It was a terrible sight to behold. People attacking Pokemon, Pokemon attacking humans. And all the while a boy was seeking solace and peace. I could only stand and stare at the horror. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I ran further and further down the rocky ledges. The sounds of rushing boots and shouting pursued behind me. As I ran, Geodude and Rattata ran beside me and looked at the fright on my face.
"Help..." I muttered to them. They simply nodded and turned towards the squadron of men and began attacking. I was touched from the bottom of my heart. I have never seen them before, nor helped them in any way. But from my single word, they understood my plight. I wanted to help them and show my gratitude, but I knew I had to keep running. As I climbed higher, shouts continued behind me. They were still on my tail.

"Wh-Whew I caught..." When he trailed behind Satoko, he saw a terrible sight of human against pokemon. It... it was nauseating, knownig things like this could happen. Mikona's face whitened a bit more before squeaking the last part of his sentence. "...up." But... they couldn't just stand there and do nothing, could they? "S-Satoko, we've got to help the pokemon!"

Mikona's voice brought me out of the shock. The horrible sight of humans vs. Pokemon was appalling, but he's right. It's no time to just sit aside. I turned to him and nodded as I reached for a Pokeball.
"Go, Petelil and Clefairy! Try to stop Team Rocket!"
In that instant, Petilil let off a storm of white powder into the air. Sleep Powder. Clefairy shot a cold beam across the ground, creating an icy wall, preventing the Rocket members from easily climbing the Route 46 slopes.

I turned my head back to see that boy had disappeared. I didn't take another look at the Rocket members trailing us and darted in the direction of the mountains. With hopes, they were stalled by the attacks.
As I ran further down the rocky path, I heard a cold voice from above.
"You're nothing but a failed experiment. Return to us so we can rectify that."
From a distance, the boy with furret ears was cornered by a middle-aged man in a black overcoat and a red R across his chest. The boy, tearing up with fear, stood between the man and sharp crevice. The man took a step forward with his hand outstretched and in a rush, the boy jumped.
